Veggie Bonda

These veggie bondas are real good starters for any party.I made this for a dinner party as a starter...with mint chutney....It came out real well and we all relished it.

Ingredients:
Potatoes - 2 big
Carrot - 1
Peas - 1 cup
Ginger - 1 tbsp (shredded )
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Saunf - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 big\
Green chillies - 4
Curry leaves
Coriander
Channadal flour - 11/2 cups
baking soda - 1 pinch
chilly powder - 1 tsp
water - 1/2 cup
salt
Oil - for deep fry
Procedure:
Mix flour,baking soda,salt,chilly powder with water.Cover it and keep it aside.
Boil potatoes and mash it well.
Steam other veggies and mix with that mash.
Take a shallow pan,add 1 tbsp oil add saunf.When aroma occurs,add onions,small cut chilly peices and curry leaves.When it onions turn transparent,add all veggie mix and salt needed.
Fry it well in medium heat for 5-7 minutes and switch it off and add coriander leaves.
Make small balls of this mix and keep it aside like this.




Heat oil in depp fry pan in medium heat.
Dip the veggie balls in the batter and deep fry them.

I clicked it in a hurry when i was frying and the picture didnt come out well...But it looks this kinds... :)


Servie it hot with mint chutney.
Its yummmmmyyyyyy!!!
